and operated perennial nursery growing Michigan hardy perennials
in southwestern Lower Michigan in zone 5. Please permit
us to introduce ourselves. Earline and Charles Jones together
represent 100 years of gardening interest, and we enjoy
visiting with other gardening enthusiasts.

We
started EZPLANT several years ago with the intent of sharing
our plants with others. We grow hosta plants, daylilies, Siberian
irises and ornamental grasses. Hosta plants that stand up
under zone 5 conditions will likely do well in many other
locations also.

provide excellent service and high-quality hosta and perennial
plants. We currently grow over 50 different hosta plants,
along with hundreds of other perennials. We believe that hosta
plants are an easy-to-grow and beautiful perennial.
There
are choices for almost any garden and for any level of gardening
experience. Height ranges from a few inches to several feet
with a spread of 10 or more feet. There are hosta varieties
that are useful as edgings or borders for perennial beds or
as specimens.
Hosta
plants are known as shade-tolerant perennials and are especially
useful as shade ground cover. Some are fragrant and open their
flowers in the evening, creating a respite from the hectic
pace of our stressful lives. Hosta plants are low-maintenance
perennials, and we have choices for almost any budget.
